Most of the Landscaping is now complete

Landscaping and plantings around the new patio and in the backyard are now in place. Grass seed has been planted and is slowing returning to the backyard. Finishing touches on the walls are going into place. Now we just need some patio furniture so we can start to enjoy it before it gets too hot outside.

Twas the Day Before Christmas

The workers decided to come back to wrap things up before Christmas. They finished the walls, cleaned up all their stuff and installed the lighting. At this point most of the patio is complete, they just have some grout work on the walls and then need to fill in between the stones in the patio. They also plan to do some landscaping around the patio - when this happens will depend on how the weather is over the next few weeks/months. Therefore the frequency of these posts may significantly slow down.

They leveled out the ground on the side of the house so it slopes away from the house rather than towards the basement.

Lighting was installed on Thursday in the main wall

Patio Work Continues

A few more days of work this week. I think they are now done until after Christmas.

The main wall is basically done - the tops were put on this week.

Cold Weather has Slowed the Progress

It has been too cold to do any patio work over the last few days, but it finally got warm enough today for some more work to commence.
